So this is weird..Its been a couple of years since I have stretched and primed a canvas...So I started with a nice coat of Liquitex Acrylic Gesso ..but the canvas sucked up and there were a few transparent spots ..and I ran out Dumb me I bought some cheaper off brand from HL and this is what I get... Its cracked in some spots but smooth in others..I'm pretty sure I went for even strokes..Oh yeah and it stinks too. It has a weird I have no other way to say it but a cat pee smell. I am a little freaked out about it because have spent too much time on it and I'm wondering if I should sand it down and pray for the smell to go away when I paint it or If i should just scrap the sucker.
